Haircut

Camryn cut her own hair last night. Luckily you can't tell. Part of her punishment was calling her Auntie Carrie and telling her (my sister cuts her hair). Camryn begged me to not make her tell her. She sobbed on the phone with her. She said "now my hair is ugly". My sister promised to fix it for her.

Grocery list

Last night we were making a shopping list for our camping trip this weekend (I swear I live camping trip to camping trip...unload, load, unload, load) and Camryn said "seriously mom, snap out of it! Just add donuts to the list." I was trying really hard not to laugh. So she said "really mom, I'm serious. (pause) Fine...I'll write it. How do you spell donuts?" and grabbed the pen from me and wrote it on the list. Jeff and I were dying laughing.

Camrynisms

Last night I picked up the girls from my sister's house, and when we were driving home, Camryn said "Hey mom, are we going to (finger quotation marks) Dodsons?" She reminded me of Joey on Friends who has no clue when to use the finger quote marks.

Monday night, she informed me that she is going to start calling Cailyn "Caitlyn" because she likes that better. And she'd appreciate it if the rest of us would too.

This morning she told my sister "whatever Cailyn has on her face, I want some"
